Every Bonavita coffee maker and kettle carries a 1-year limited warranty. Below: what it covers, how to claim, and how to keep the machine brewing for years.

What the warranty covers
The 1-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use: a heater that stops reaching temperature, a switch that fails, a tank or carafe that arrives damaged. It does not cover wear from heavy use, limescale damage from skipped descaling, or accidents like a dropped carafe. Replacement carafes, brew baskets and tanks are sold separately in the official store, and they fit every machine in their series.
How to claim
Have three things ready: the model number (on the base of the machine, for example BV1901TS or BV1500TS), the purchase date, and a photo or short video of the problem. Then write to [email protected] or use the contact form and choose “Warranty claim” as the topic. Claims are answered within two business days. If the machine cannot be repaired remotely, a replacement or a refund follows the store’s return terms.
Keep it brewing: care in four steps
Carafe, filter basket and lid get a quick rinse so coffee oils never build up. The Bonavita carafe lid, basket and showerhead are dishwasher safe on the top rack.
Pop it off and scrub under running water. A clean showerhead is what keeps extraction even from the first cup to the last.
Use a quality phosphate-free descaler and run a full cycle, then two cycles of plain water. If the brewer steams more than usual, it is asking for this. Hard water areas: descale more often.

Are Bonavita parts dishwasher safe?
The carafe lid, filter basket and showerhead are, top rack recommended. The brewer body, water tank and electrics are not. Wipe those with a damp cloth.
My brewer is out of warranty. Can I still fix it?
Usually, yes. Carafes, baskets and tanks are replaceable for every series, including the 1900-series (BV1900TS, BV1901TS, BV1900TD) and the 5-Cup (BV1500TS). Parts are in the official store.
