The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run the site and the store: basic device data, the messages you send us, and order details when you buy something. We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
What we collect
Device information. When you visit bonavita.world, the servers automatically receive your browser type, IP address, time zone and which pages you view. This keeps the site fast and secure and shows us which pages help people and which do not.
Information you give us. If you write through the contact form or by email, we keep your name, email address and the message so we can answer. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep the email address until you unsubscribe.
Order information. When you buy a Bonavita coffee maker, kettle, carafe or part in the official store, the store processes your name, address, payment details and order contents to fulfill the purchase. Payment card data is handled by the payment processor and never touches our servers.
How we use it
- To run, secure and improve the website
- To answer your questions and handle warranty claims
- To process and deliver orders, and to prevent fraud
- To send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used when you allow analytics cookies
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site and store work: the store platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, and (if you accept analytics cookies) an analytics provider. Each gets only what it needs. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw cookie consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will handle it within 30 days. EU and UK visitors have these rights under GDPR; California residents under CCPA.
Data retention and security
Contact and warranty messages are kept while they are relevant to your request, then deleted. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. The site runs over HTTPS and access to stored data is limited to the people who need it for support.
Children
The site and store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date above. Material changes are also flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.
